I had a fear of riding a two-wheeler since childhood. After falling from a bicycle when I was young, I had decided that I would never ride a scooty in my entire life.
But joining MotoPark changed that.
Akshay guided me completely from scratch and helped me slowly build my confidence. He was very patient throughout the sessions and explained everything in a simple way. The on-road training sessions were especially helpful because he taught me things that you actually need to know while riding in real traffic.
It wasn't just about learning how to ride. He also taught me basic things like filling fuel, checking tyre air, and other practical aspects of handling a scooty.
One thing I especially want to mention is that, as men, we sometimes feel that taking training for a two-wheeler is weird or embarrassing. We think, "Scooty chalane ke liye training ki kya zarurat hai?" because there are so many people around us who ride without any formal training.
But honestly, there is nothing embarrassing about learning something properly. Don't let what others might think stop you from doing something that can help you become more confident and independent.
I won't say that I have mastered everything after completing the training. I'm still learning, and I know that practice is the key. In fact, Akshay himself gave me the genuine advice that without regular practice, nothing is possible.
For me, the biggest achievement wasn't becoming a perfect rider. It was overcoming a fear that I had carried since childhood and finally getting started.
So if you're thinking about joining scooty training but wondering whether you really need it — don't think too much about what others say. Go for it, give your best, practice regularly, and build your confidence.
Thank you, Akshay, and MotoPark, for helping me take that first step. 🙌
